Session Info

Family Session

Family sessions can be booked during the week or the weekend, depending on the type of session & my availability. I recommend booking your session at least 4-6 weeks in advance. The first step to booking a session is to schedule a call. On the call we will discuss what you are envisioning, along with other details like location and timing. Most importantly, we need to make sure that we are a good fit for each other before you begin your investment in family archives.

The goal is to have fun, stay relaxed and enjoy this time together. The goal is NOT to focus on the end product. If we try to overly control things, it will be apparent in the images. This really is my favorite part of the whole process. Spending time with you all! The lighter we are, the more natural the captures will turn out. Trust in me, trust in yourself and most importantly, trust in your little ones–by allowing them to be their true selves.

Newborn Session

One of the key elements to a great newborn lifestyle photo session is a sense of trust. I do not take it lightly that our session may occur when you're at your most vulnerable; and maybe feeling your most un-done. You've just gone through a huge life change.

I am so honored to capture this beautiful chapter of your lives. Your love and joy for this newest member is swirling around all of you. I am simply here to create photos that preserve these very special, fleeting moments. You may feel foggy-brained and exhausted, but your heart is overflowing with such joy and exhilaration over meeting your new baby that it will shine through in the images.

It is best to book two or three months in advance, giving me a rough estimate on the due date. I will be “on call” for the 2-3 weeks after your baby’s birth. You will generally need that first week of the baby’s life to recover, adjust and enjoy that drunk-with-love chapter. Once you pass that 3 week mark things can shift in regard to getting not getting such a squishy, sleepy, clear-skin baby. You can always book after 3 weeks of age, but anticipate that the baby will be more alert, engaged, (possibly) fussy and (possibly) have baby acne.

Portrait Session

These portraits capture the spirit of your child with a simple click. It isn’t about the face or the smile, but the whole child. Their whole selves that only you truly know. I love connecting with people–specifically children. My fascination with them helps me bring them out of their shell, expressing to me who they proudly are.

The intent of these childhood portraits (any age) is to give a much larger glimpse into the essence of your child. These little people have a bigger-than-life spirit that is bursting with their story. Capturing these annually to create tangible prints is an investment that is well worth it! You’ll have these treasures for years to come.

How it works

  • 1. Schedule a Call

A quick phone call is the easiest way to go over all of the details and answer any questions you have about working with me. If it sounds like we’re a good fit, we can get your session in the books and start making plans for your session! A session fee of $300 and a little paperwork is all that’s required to reserve your spot.

  • 2. Have a Great Session

My favorite part! Once we’re booked, I’ll send you my detailed session guide to getting ready for your relaxing, FUN session. Sessions usually take place in/around your home and last around 60-90 minutes. Let’s make some memories together!

  • 3. Pick a Collection

Your favorite part! 2-3 weeks after your session, you’ll receive roughly 60 fully edited proofs to swoon over. You choose one of four collections, which start at $300 and are custom built for you. Each collection includes a set number of high resolution digital files available for download & complimentary print credits for your private gallery shop.

“Ann is truly talented at capturing the essence of a child’s personality, not just a posed, smily face. She has a laid-back demeanor that sets everyone at ease, and allows her to capture photos that you will cherish for a lifetime!”
