1. Printing

Ann White Photography recommends printing through your online gallery. Any other printing company cannot be guaranteed by Ann in regards to quality of printing, color correction, or the life of the photograph. 

2. Copyright

All photographic materials, including but not limited to negatives, digital image files, transparencies, etc. shall be the exclusive property of Ann White Photography unless negotiated otherwise. If an agreement is reached between the two parties to purchase the digital files, we reserve the right to maintain possession of our own original set of files. If digital files are purchased, Ann White Photography will still hold the copyright to all images. Ann White Photography owns the copyright in all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions. The Photographer shall only make reproductions for the client, or for the Photographer’s portfolio, samples, website, self-promotions, entry in photographic contests, or art exhibitions, editorial use, or for display within or outside of the Photographer’s studio. If the Photographer desires to make other uses, the Photographer shall not do so without first obtaining written permission from the Client. 

3. Editing

Images may not be cropped, edited or altered in any way, including B+W conversion, Instagram filters or any other editing software, unless approved by Ann. This is done to protect the integrity of the images. Doing so is an infringement of US Copyright Law (USC Title 17), for which fines begin at $50,000. Images are for personal use ONLY.

4. Resale

They are not to be used for contest entry, promotional/head shots or anything related to profit off the images (unless agreed upon and approved by Ann). The client shall not sell said prints or authorize any reproductions thereof by parties other than Ann White Photography. It is a violation of federal copyright law to allow photographs taken by Ann White Photography to be reproduced or altered in any manner including but not limited to electronic scanning via personal scanner, “screen capturing,” or reproduction via photo lab or self-service kiosk.
